Olympus has sold its controlling interest in National Pizza Company (NPC). NPC owns and operates 1,144 Pizza Hut franchise stores and 386 Wendy’s franchise stores. Olympus acquired NPC, then a single brand operator, in December 2011. In recent years, NPC grew from zero stores to the largest Wendy’s franchisee in the United States.
